La Universidad St. Augustine firma acuerdo de colaboración con la Universidad North Park

Los estudiantes se beneficiarán de esta colaboración académica

Chicago, Illinois (NED).– Continuando con su tradición de expandir las oportunidades educativas de sus estudiantes, el Departamento de Negocios de la Universidad St. Augustine firmó un acuerdo de colaboración con la Facultad de Estudios para Adultos de la Universidad North Park. Éste acuerdo permitirá que los estudiantes que se gradúen de St. Augustine con Títulos Asociados en Artes o en Ciencias Aplicadas, puedan transferir sus cursos acreditados a la Facultad de Estudios para Adultos de la Universidad North Park para lograr su Licenciatura. North Park proveerá un descuento de 25% en costos de matrícula a los graduados de St. Augustine mientras estudien en la Facultad de Estudios para Adultos.

“Nos complace desarrollar esta asociación con la Universidad North Park para ofrecerles a nuestros estudiantes otro camino que conduce a  títulos universitarios con una institución tan bien respetada,” dijo Andrew Sund, Presidente de la Universidad St. Augustine. Por su parte, David Parkyn, Presidente de la Universidad North Park, añadió “Ésta es una iniciativa para desarrollar una relación de beneficio mutuo para las dos universidades, con el objetivo principal de ayudar a los estudiantes en ambas instituciones a avanzar su educación.”

El acuerdo incluye otras áreas de colaboración. St. Augustine proveerá espacio y apoyo técnico para que North Park ofrezca cursos y consejería académica a estudiantes de St. Augustine y North Park. Ambas instituciones explorarán oportunidades conjuntas para desarrollo del profesorado y empleados cuando sea apropiado.

St. Augustine College Signs Articulation Agreement With North Park University

Students to Benefit from This Academic Collaboration

Chicago, Illinois (NED).– Continuing the tradition of expanding educational opportunities for its students, St. Augustine College’s Department of Business has signed an articulation agreement with North Park University’s School of Adult Learning. This partnership will allow students who complete an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree at St. Augustine College to transfer their completed course credits to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree through North Park University’s School of Adult Learning. North Park will also provide St. Augustine graduates a 25% tuition discount for the duration of their attendance in the School of Adult learning.

“We are pleased to partner with North Park University to provide our students another pathway that leads to an advanced degree with a well respected institution,” stated Andrew Sund, President of St. Augustine College. David Parkyn, President of North Park University, added “This is an effort to develop a substantive and mutually beneficial relationship for both institutions, with the ultimate goal of helping the students who chose our institutions to advance their education.”

The agreement includes other areas of cooperation. St. Augustine will provide space and technical support for North Park to offer bridge classes and advising to St. Augustine and North Park students. Both institutions will pursue shared faculty and staff developments opportunities where appropriate.
